How payments work

You pay as the work gets done.

Payments are staged by milestone — you only fund the next phase once the last one is complete and you're happy with it. Nothing is paid up front beyond a small, legally-capped deposit.

Deposit: just $1,000 to start — a California consumer protection

By California home-improvement law, a contractor's deposit can't exceed 10% of the contract or $1,000, whichever is less. So you start with only $1,000 down — your money stays tied to completed work, not promises.
